To get from Miami city limits to the last Florida Key is about a four-hour drive along 150 miles of open highway. You will cross incredibly blue bodies of water and briefly pass through each Key with each bridge. The first Key you will come across is Key Largo, and you will want to stop off the highway to experience the culture surrounding this beautiful island oasis. Take a detour and head for the sparkling water to snorkel or hop aboard a glass bottom boat to float over the last living coral reef in North America. Once you have soaked in the breathtaking sites of Key Largo, continue on your journey to Key West.
